The more prideful a person is, the more likely they are to act like they know something, make decisions based on their own experience, and make mistakes. There is a risk in making decisions based solely on your own experience. The best managers are the ones who pretend to be fools and ask people for advice. Being a fool and asking for advice is an important skill for avoiding business failure.
